Printed on back of tin is: "Hershey's Kisses ® Milk Chocolate" and the ingredients plus "Mfd. by Hershey Chocolate U.S.A. Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033-09815 U.S.A. A Division of Hershey Foods Corporation." Printed on bottom of tin is "Hershey's Hometown Series Canister #4 - Made in U.S.A. © 1990 Hershey Foods Corporation" and a UPC code. Top of tin has the Hershey's logo, a picture of 3 Hershey Kisses and "Kisses Milk Chocolate." Kisses Collectible Tin or Canister - Hometown Series #9 Front of tin shows a drawing of old-time 1934 scene of The Hotel Hershey in Hershey Pennsylvania. Printed on back of tin is: "The Hotel Hershey, constructed by Milton Hershey, rests atop the highest hill in Hershey. The location was chosen because of its commanding view of the beautiful countryside which includes the community of Hershey, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Pennsylvania, and the surrounding scenic dairy farmland. The Hotel's atmosphere follows the finest of old Spanish traditions. Many of the ideas were inspired by Mr. Hershey's travels throughout the world. In fact, the Fountain Lobby carries the influence of Cuban architecture. The building is large and impressive, built entirely of glazed brick and is generously adorned with sun porches. Flower gardens, shrubbery and lawn surround the Hotel on all sides. Milton Hershey planned the Hotel soon after completion of the first chocolate plant in 1905, however construction did not begin until 1932. The formal opening took place on May 30, 1933." The back of the tin also has the ingredients plus "Mfd. by Hershey Chocolate U.S.A. Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033-09815 U.S.A. A Division of Hershey Foods Corporation." A portion of the proceeds help fund the 1996 Olympic Games." Unsure what the tin originally held, it is now empty. Purina Biscuits Collectible Tin Printed on top is: the Ralston Purina logo and "Purina Biscuits." The only other printing on the can is on the upper edge (that only shows if the lid is off) in very small letters: "© 1989 Ralston Purina Company" and "Printed in USA." There are three pictures on the tin - one with a girl and her dog looking scared while reading a book about big cats; another with a boy playing a trombone and his dog howling to the music; and the third a picture of a boy and a girl, both in baseball uniforms and their arms around their dog who is wearing a baseball cap. (See photos.) Color: Primarily green with multi-colored pictures Size: Approx. 5-7/8" diameter x 7-1/2" high Age/Date: 1989 Condition: Excellent - no scratches, dents or rust - looks new.
