Must Sell - I have so very many collections that they are taking over my house and garage. I have a doll collection that I collected spanning from 1952 to the 70's and a few later - no Barbie or such dolls. I have the 5 Dionne dolls with all their original clothes and name badges. These dolls were given to me when I lived in California in 1955 by a woman by the name of Hazel Langford. She said that an aunt who was in show business bought them for Hazel's daughter when they first came out and they had been stored in her attic. I have many many more old dolls.
I have collections of: vases, planters, trinket boxes, colored glass ware, statues of everything, stuffed animal (a hump bear from 1949), small wash bowl and pitchers, carnival glass, jewelry, cans, mini lunch boxes, 3 metal electric football games, Avon, other assorted perfume bottles, made in Japan items, assorted ginger jars, Asian items, items made in Italy, France, India, miniature dishes, assorted shot glasses, a few sketches - art work by Lena Lu, many many glass items and pottery items, brown hull ware, baskets of assorted sizes and shapes, small metal wares such as brass, copper, silver, silver plated, cast iron items, post cards from 1946 on, stamps before and after 1946, and so very very much more. My son has a roll of 1954 dimes that came right from the bank and were not circulated. He has many more coins and my husband and I have a few. My husband retired and we are both in bad health and it is all too much for us, I am a few years young for Medicare and have no insurance, so we need cash immediately for my medical care. For Sale - Cast iron Double Inkstand / Matching Pressed Glass Inkwells - Ornate openwork frame has an open slot across the back for letters, three pen grooves across the top of the inkstand. Matching pressed glass inkwells have contoured corners, they fit in two depressions across the front. Base measures 7 inches, height is 5 inches at rear of inkstand. Overall, good condition; the one glass inkwell bottom has some small scrapes. This double inkstand set was used by my great grandfather who was a Lancaster County teacher in the 1890's.
