Information Wanted - Hello! I have 4 plastic McDonald's cups that on one side have the words: PROFESSOR - then below that word is
The McD's logo - then below that LE PROFESSEUR. Did You Know McDonald's Fun
Facts...
- The First
McDonald's Restaurant - On December 12, 1948, the first McDonald's restaurant opened in San Bernardino California by the McDonald brothers. The restaurant featured their "Speedee Service System" selling 15 cent hamburgers and 10 cent fries. In 1954, Ray Kroc
visited the restaurant and convinced the McDonald brothers to let him franchise McDonald's.
In 1961, Ray Kroc buys out the McDonald brothers for $2.7 million. The sale did not include the original San Bernardino McDonald's location. That restaurant changed its name and was bought and sold and eventually demolished in 1972.

The first McDonald's Restaurant opened in Des Plaines, Illinois by McDonald's Corporation founder, Ray Kroc, on April 15, 1955.

- The First Happy Meal was sold in June 1979. It consisted of a regular hamburger or cheeseburger, fries, McDonaldland Cookies sampler, and a soft drink. It was the Circus Wagon Happy Meal. It cost one dollar and contained a McDoodler stencil, a puzzle book, a McWrist wallet, an ID bracelet and McDonaldland character erasers.
