at the time of its completion it was the
"longest and highest railroad bridge in the World."
It stood 301 feet from the valley floor at its center and was 2100 feet long. Unfortunately, it was
damaged by a tornado on Monday, July 21, 2003
and more than half of the bridge collapsed.

and usually runs in late August. It features agricultural exhibits, rodeo, mud bogging, horse pulling, live
entertainment, contests, food, games, rides, antique car

2009 at Sky Haven Airport
Sunday, August 16, 2009 - 10AM to 6PM (Set up time 8AM) - Rain or shine
Sky Haven Airport, 17 Runway Road (Route 29S), Tunkhannock, PA 18657 (Wyoming County PA.)
Follow Route 6 to Tunkhannock, turn onto Route 29S, follow across the bridge for approx 0.5 miles. Airport will be on your left before
Walmart.
One of Wyoming County's biggest summer events! Live entertainment, food, games,
crafters, vendors, airplane
rides, and more! Over 50 crafters and vendors expected.
Proceeds benefit the Wyoming County American Red Cross.
Vendors and crafters wanted. Standard space 10' x 10' is $25, double space $45.
